Wendy Ponca (Osage) is another multi-talented artist who has steered her own course. Primarily known for her work as a fashion designer and fashion show producer, she works with textiles, painting, assemblages, beadwork, jewelry and weaving.

A visionary artist and teacher, Ponca says of tradition, "I focus on Native American philosophy and the duality that my heritage provides. This philosophy is healthy and provides respect for the 'great mystery' WAH-KON-TAH, and truth integrated with our mother earth."
